TMD Friction secures IMI accreditation

TMD Friction has achieved the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) accreditation, meaning it can train and audit workshops and technicians on its brake relining module.

Scott Irwin, head of technical training at TMD Friction IAM, said: “This is fantastic news for TMD Friction. Becoming an official industry-recognised approved training centre is a great acknowledgement of TMD Friction’s learning and development programmes. We’re delighted that our training will be delivered with quality assurance, installing confidence to individuals and businesses throughout the automotive sector.”

Sören Kristensen, vice president global marketing and communication at TMD Friction IAM, said: “Training and skills development is at the heart of everything we do, and we look forward to adding this new accreditation across a wider range of TMD Friction training modules and learning outcomes.”

TMD Friction offers expansive and in-depth quality training programs across passenger car and commercial vehicle sectors and all training from the company includes final assessments.
