Motofix launches new skills development programme

Motofix Group has created a new two-year traineeship for its vehicle repair business; the Automotive Business Trainee.

As part of the programme, trainees will develop skills and knowledge in parts, vehicle damage assessment, and customer services.

Richard Tutt, Motofix group chairman, said: “We looked at various apprenticeships, both in our industry and general ones, but couldn’t find anything that met our specific needs. We already invest in developing our team’s technical skills through apprenticeships and further learning for qualified technicians but there was a gap for this particular type of role so we decided to create our own programme”

Motofix is now looking for candidates across its nine locations to join the two-year traineeship.
