MG Motor reports record sales

MG Motor UK has reported a 41% sales uptick on 2019, with more units already sold in 2021 than all of last year.
The company sold its 20,000th new MG this month, achieving a 65% year-on-year growth in new registrations.
MG Motor UK commercial director, Guy Pigounakis, said: “To pass the 20,000 milestone with three-and-a-half months to go is incredible news and it shows just how popular our new models are with the British car buying public, and also how engaged and driven our dealer network is as the brand continues to grow.
“MG is rapidly establishing itself as a major player in the UK car market and a highly desirable franchise for dealers, as evidenced not only by our record sales, but also in the sustained growth and geographical spread of our dealers across the UK, who are doing a great job in engaging the public with our amazing brand.”
