Fix Auto UK expands Birmingham footprint

Fix Auto UK has increased its standing within the UK’s second city with the addition of Fix Auto Moseley.

Established by second generation repairer Jay Sehra five years ago as NJP Motors, the latest addition to the network increases the number of Fix Auto UK repair centres in Birmingham to seven, complimenting Fix Auto Birmingham North, Fix Auto Birmingham East, Fix Auto Kings Norton, Fix Auto Walsall, Fix Auto Wednesbury and Fix Auto Oldbury which joined earlier this year.

Spanning 15,000 sqft, the repair centre boasts two spraybooths – one dedicated to LCVs – and 13 operatives currently processing up to 35 vehicles a week.

Sehra said: “My father has been repairing cars for close on 40 years, the latter 20 he worked for himself. I wanted to build upon his work which is why I created the business. The last five years have been a whirlwind and we’ve progressed and developed beyond all recognition.

“My aim is to be a multi-site operator but I also recognise I need help and guidance to fulfil my ambitions. Fix Auto UK will provide that support I am sure.

“I have looked on at what Fix Auto UK and its franchise partners have achieved for some time. I really wanted to join two years ago but in reality, I recognised we were simply not ready. While we have always had the skills and expertise to repair vehicles to the highest standards possible, I felt we needed to be established, we needed the right premises, the right team and to be BSI approved. We have ticked all those boxes and more besides.”

Ian Pugh, Fix Auto UK’s managing director, said: “When you have built up an enviable reputation in a relatively short time as Jay and his team have, it’s a given that they can repair vehicles to the highest standards possible. We are always looking for new Franchise Partners with drive, commitment and above all, ambition, and Jay and his team have that in droves. Like I have said so many times before now, I look forward to the journey ahead.”
