Bodyshops urged to tap into LCV market

LKQ Euro Car Parts is encouraging bodyshops to tap into the potential revenues generated by LCVs.

SMMT figures found that LCV registrations have enjoyed a 9.5% year-on-year growth, driven by the home delivery sector.

Colin Cottrell, marketing director at LKQ Euro Car Parts, said: “LCVs are the lifeblood of our country, and our national van fleet is growing. From tradespeople to delivery services, businesses rely on the performance of their vehicles. Time spent off the road is simply not an option, which is where independent garages and bodyshops come in.”

LKQ Euro Car Parts offers the UK’s largest range of specialist mechanical and collision parts for LCVs, while bodyshops that order via the Omnipart online platform can also benefit from priority service with the option to track deliveries.

Colin Cottrell added: “Online orders can be faster than buying parts over the phone, and their digital footprint is an added benefit. Returns and warranties are also easier to manage – not to mention the phone lines being freed up for customers to use.”
