Volvo drives British Triathlon

Volvo Cars UK is the new official vehicle partner of British Triathlon.

Its vehicles will support major triathlon events around the country, including the AJ Bell World Triathlon Leeds and Accenture World Triathlon Mixed Relay Nottingham, plus the Accenture Mixed Team Challenge at London’s Canary Wharf.

Outside the main calendar, British Triathlon’s team of coaches and officials will also be making use of Volvo cars for their official work.

Jon Wakefield, managing director of Volvo Car UK, said, ‘We are excited to become part of such a vibrant and popular sport that is capturing the imagination of so many people. There is a sense of adventure at the heart of Volvo that both embraces and respects the environment, in the same way that triathlon enables people to enjoy sport that connects them directly to the world around them.’
