Venson secures specialist status
Venson Automotive Solutions has been awarded appointed provider status on YPO’s Specialist Vehicles Framework 960, which specifically covers the purchase, hire and lease of specialist vehicles of 3.5 tonne and over.
This includes waste management, emergency services and winter maintenance vehicles and their associated services.
YPO which is 100% publicly owned by 13 local authorities across England, Scotland and Wales, offers aggregated procurement services to public sector organisations across the UK, through more than 100 different frameworks.
Venson has been sourcing, funding and converting vehicles to suit a range of fleets, including those for the public sector, for more than 20 years.
Danielle Tilley, business development director at Venson Automotive Solutions, said: “We are delighted to be awarded a place on this framework. In line with our company ethos of always putting the customer at the heart of everything we do, being part of framework 960 means that our customers can have the added confidence that we can meet their individual requirements in the specialist vehicles arena.
“Customers accessing us via the framework do not need to run a full OJEU procurement for example – saving them time and reducing timescales. They can also benefit from the aggregated spend volume and increased leverage in the market that the YPO platform offers.”
