TfL gives Uber two-month extension
Transport for London has extended Uber’s licence to operate in the capital for just two months.
The company lost its licence in 2017 over public safety concerns. A judge then granted a 15-month extension, which was due to end tomorrow.
A TfL spokesperson said, ‘Uber London Ltd has been granted a two-month private hire operator licence to allow for scrutiny of additional information that we are requesting ahead of consideration of any potential further licensing application.’
