Six of the best for S&G Response
All six S&G Response apprentices nominated for The Apprentice Academy’s ‘Star Apprentice Awards’ received this prestigious recognition – an astonishing return as only five per cent of all apprentices win this award.
Maddy, Jade, Callum, Jasmine, Tate and Richard were nominated for The Apprentice Academy’s ‘Star Apprentice Awards’ by their team leaders for outstanding dedication to their roles and consistently surpassing all expectations.
Often, people think of apprentices as doing basic roles; the reality is many are carrying out operational roles, from working on client teams, to finance, HR, project teams and business support. The Apprentice Academy decided to launch the Apprentice Star awards to provide an opportunity to formally recognise apprentices who really shine.
Nik Griffiths, S&G Response operations director said, ‘We are elated with the performance of our apprentices and are proud to see that the value they bring to S&G Response has been recognised by the Apprentice Academy. Looking forward, we are eager to see them develop further and grow alongside the business. At S&G Response, we endeavour to ensure our apprentices enjoy the learning journey, have the opportunity to enhance their work based skills and achieve personal and professional success. As a testament to their hard work and commitment we will be offering all of our apprentices full time employment following the successful completion of their courses.’
Jim Clarke, the Apprentice Academy’s future talent director commented, ‘We have worked with S&G Response for three years and have seen them really invest in their next generation workforce through apprenticeships. This year we went out to present six apprentices at S&G Response with the award, each on their own journey of success. It was great seeing them receive the award and hearing why they had been recognised. I know they will have been proud and it was nice seeing their line managers and directors coming in to see the nominations.’
