ITAS chief completes Ironman for charity
Tony Young, managing director of ITAS, completed the incredible challenge that is an Ironman Triathlon at the weekend, raising £2,780 for Plastic Oceans UK.
The charity aims to raise awareness of plastics in our oceans and educate people regarding the damage it does to sea life.
The Ironman event consist of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile cycle ride and 26 mile run. He completed the event in 12hrs 20mins, finishing 206 out of 2,000 athletes and 33rd in his age group.
