Mazda Motors UK in partnership with Allianz Global Assistance is extending the Mazda Approved Used Car programme (AUC) with a range of new benefits. The enhanced programme builds upon the existing offering for Mazda UK’s dealer network, helping to maintain customer loyalty in dealerships with extended warranty cover and MOT protection.
Mazda UK owners can now benefit from increased warranty cover, with protection for in-car entertainment and Bluetooth connectivity equipment. As this type of in-car technology is more frequently included on modern vehicles, Mazda owners can now be protected from the risk of unexpected repair costs.
This extended Mazda AUC programme also includes cover for a comprehensive list of MOT failure items, as standard, for customers having their MOT carried out at an Authorised Mazda Repairer, providing they maintain their vehicle in line with the manufacturer’s servicing schedule.
Mazda UK aftersales director David Wilson-Green said, ‘Through our ongoing partnership with Allianz Global Assistance we are now able to bring Mazda owners an even higher level of cover for their vehicles. We are providing a financial cushion for MOT repairs, which helps our customers manage their running costs and enrich their ownership experience. Importantly, the AUC re-launch also brings key benefits to our dealers, boosting their aftersales profits by bringing customers back.’
Dale Murphy, Mazda warranty account manager at Allianz Global Assistance in the UK said, ‘By working in close partnership with Mazda UK, we have been able to redesign the existing AUC programme to meet the changing needs of their customers and dealers even more than the previous service. It also maximises profitable aftersales opportunities for the dealer network.’
