The 2015 Institute of Automotive Engineers and Assessors (IAEA) National Conference returns to the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull on Saturday 9 May 2015, with Tony Boobier from IBM UK confirmed as the final speaker.
Tony Boobier is a WW executive with IBM, based in the UK. Having spent 20 years working for insurers and intermediaries in customer-facing roles, he moved to the technology sector nearly 10 years ago, recognising the use of technology to be a major force going forward. In his current role, he now focusses on insurance, risk and finance. An engineer by background, he has further qualifications in insurance, supply chain and marketing. A well-known international speaker, writer and media commentator, he has an international and forward looking viewpoint on the world in general and insurance in particular.
Along with IBM’s Tony Boobier, this year’s conference speaker line-up includes contributions from Cheshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, John Dwyer; Andrew Hooker, future vehicle engineer at Thatcham, and Richard Taylor, head of collision repair relations at Euro Car Parts.
Headline sponsors for this year’s event are Audatex, Euro Car Parts, Fix Auto and Glass’s along with sponsors Allianz Insurance, the National Association of Bodyshops, Thatcham and Vizion, and exhibitors ABP and bodyshop magazine.
Tickets to the IAEA National Conference are subsidised by the IAEA and are available to members at £10 per person or £20 for non-members and guests. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
