Crescent Motoring receive recognition

Crescent Motoring from Burton on Trent in Staffordshire has scooped the prestigious Motor Codes Garage of the Year award for the second year in succession.

Crescent fought off competition from 8,000 independent garages in Motor Codes’ nationwide network to take the crown. Motor Codes is the Government-backed, Trading Standards approved quality code for garages.

The award, based on customer nominations and feedback, rewards excellence in workmanship and customer service.

Mark Terry, managing director of Motor Codes said, ‘Motor Codes garages are providing first class service to motorist’s right across the UK, and we’re delighted to have this opportunity to celebrate the best in the business. All of our finalists are great ambassadors for the industry and they should be rightly proud of their achievement.’

Crescent managing director Steve Tallett said that Crescent’s continuing success is down to the business’s  charity work, commitment to customer service and innovative promotional activities like ladies’ and new drivers’ nights, which teach basic car maintenance.

Crescent’s victory rounds off an excellent competition for Approved Garages and AutoCare, which also boast four of the 11 regional winners of the award, more than a third of the prizes on offer.

‘We’d like to give hearty congratulations to Crescent Motoring and all our regional winners,’ said Approved Garages network manager Phil Seymour. ‘The success we’ve had in the Garage of the Year competition shows the commitment to quality that is evident throughout the Approved Garages and AutoCare networks. The fact that Crescent has won the award twice in a row is the icing on the cake.’
