Ageas has announce a number of key internal leadership appointments in its Retail business, reporting to Ant Middle, CEO, Ageas Retail, from 1 January 2016.
Adam Clarke will become managing director for Ageas Retail Direct, the business responsible for the Ageas-owned brands RIAS and Castle Cover. Adam takes up this important role following the departure of Peter Corfield earlier in the year to a position outside of the industry. Adam joined Ageas as Underwriting Director for the Insurance business in 2007 and has a strong track record of success across both the Personal and Commercial business lines.
Nick Lemans will resume his role as Finance Director for Ageas Retail.
The Partnerships business will be led by Jason Banwell, who will become its managing director, focusing on the continued development and performance of the affinity partnerships portfolio and encompassing the Kwik Fit Intermediary business. Having previously led Ageas’s affinity operation in Stoke-on-Trent, and more recently Ageas Retail Intermediary in Glasgow, Jason has experience in the field and will lead this area of continued strategic importance.
In a newly-created role, Caroline King will become director of operations for Ageas Retail, overseeing all Retail sales and service operations, serving customers up and down the country. Having already successfully driven business model simplification and service enhancements, Caroline and her leadership team will build upon the progress already made in the delivery of the business strategy to further develop strong customer service credentials.
Commenting on the new leadership appointments, Ant Middle, CEO, Ageas Retail said: ‘It’s fantastic to be able to appoint such important leadership roles from within Ageas. This just serves to underline the high calibre of talent that exists within the business and puts Ageas Retail very much on the front foot to deliver on our ambitious plans as we look ahead to 2016 and beyond.’
Adam Clarke’s role as managing director of Ageas Retail Direct is subject to regulatory approval.
