A Quest to Europe

Quest Automotive Products UK Ltd, owners of Prospray, USC and Matrix brands has enjoyed new business growth and ‘unprecedented’ brand interest in the EU during the first quarter of 2015.
Speaking with bodyshop magazine, Quest managing director for the UK and Europe, Paul Tredgold said, ‘The Quest brands are in great demand throughout the UK and continental Europe as our message is beginning to resonate with commercially focused bodyshop owners. We are continually posing the question to these owners ‘if you can’t see the difference, why pay the difference?’ It makes their decision process a little easier.’
Paul explained that the company is in the process of promoting its brands on the global stage and has enjoyed ‘unprecedented’ success last year at NACE, SEMA and Automechanika, all of which were a chance to showcase the products now that they sit within the Quest Specialty Chemicals (QSC) family. The response has led to opportunities throughout the EMEA, with Quest now ‘converting prospects into new customers’.
Quest has launched a new, enhanced colour tool for H20 in the third quarter, along with a new UHS clearcoat and rapid air dry primer. Paul Tredgold stated that ‘both products have been extensively tested with excellent results and will continue to enhance our product portfolio and presence within the sector’.
Meanwhile, Quest Automotive Products has also added to its team. Mirjana Prokic joins the company in May as sales director for QAP UK & EU. Paul said, ‘With our European opportunities growing it only seemed natural to strengthen the team and Mirjana was the ideal candidate. We could not be more excited to welcome experience, understanding and knowledge onboard. We have a truly exciting 2015 to look forward to.’
