CAPS analysis for July shows claims up 12%

The latest collision repair industry report from CAPS – covering unique claims and supply chain transmissions in July – shows claims have edged up 12% following a 9% dip in June.

For the same period, supply chain transmissions (covering parts, mobility and systems) increased 15%, also following a 9% dip the previous month.

The new figures are 63% for unique claims and 68% for supply chain transmissions, and are measured against January’s pre-lockdown level of exchanges across CAPS (Common Automotive Platform Standard), which includes more than 1,200 registered bodyshops.

The report, shown in full below, also includes indications of regional growth across the UK.
