U-Pol’s Raptor gains industry interest

The wave of interest from a varied body of businesses following U-Pol’s attendance at the recent Commercial Vehicle Show has furthered the success of the Raptor Coatings System.
The Wellingborough-based company is now looking to partner with some of the UK’s leading manufacturers of bespoke HGV trailers and coach builders, several waste disposal operators, a high-end exclusive car modifying company, an abattoir and even a lobster merchant from Wales wanting to protect both his lorries and sea-going boats from the harshness of salt water.
With U-Pol celebrating its 70th anniversary year in 2018, the company has introduced its Made To Order Colour System (MTOC) ensuring the product can produce over 175 RAL numbers ready for use to meet customers exact corporate brand requirements.
The show also saw the introduction of the Raptor Epoxy Primer. Raptor offers the CV market a complete protective coating system from start of the paint process to the finish.
CEO Guy Williams, said, ‘The reaction at the Commercial Vehicle Show was hugely positive about the new Raptor System and customers gained a much greater understanding of how versatile the products are in protecting all CV requirements. Our sales team has been inundated with requests for trials and samples since the show last month.’
