Show offers technology guide

The Manufacturer Smart Factory Expo and the accompanying The Manufacturer Annual Leaders Conference takes place on 2-3 November 2016.

The show is designed to guide manufacturers in how to succeed in the transition to the smart factory as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.

Head of exhibitions at The Manufacturer, Adrian Sell, said, ‘It is vital that the manufacturing sector truly understands the reality and implications of Industry 4.0, in all parts of the business; from the boardroom to the factory floor. The interest in what Industry 4.0 technology can do for UK manufacturing is evident in the speed of adoption across manufacturing, and not only in specific sectors such as automotive as we have seen in the past.’

Industry 4.0 is regarded as the next industrial revolution in which automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies are fully utilised. Many Industry 4.0 solutions are already available and TM Smart Factory Expo to display over 100 application examples.

Part of The Manufacturer Live series of events taking place on 1–3 November is at The NEC, Birmingham, alongside the Expo. To find out more, visit: www.themanufacturerlive.com
