UK engine output rose in May for the first time in nearly a year. Engine production splutters during January

UK engine production fell 15.9% in January, compared to the same month last year. According to figures released by the Society for Motor Manufacturers and Traders, just 141,472 units were produced, with production for domestic and overseas markets declining 29.2% and 6.2% respectively.
