Bodyshop Solutions backs Train to Gain skills programme
Bodyshop Solutions is partnering with RWC Training to deliver its Train to Gain programme to more bodyshops.
Train to Gain is delivered remotely, meaning bodyshops can upskill their technicians with minimum operational disruption and no travel or accommodation costs.
The programme combines core training units delivered online through live sessions, demonstration videos, expert interviews and interactive discussions, with additional modules tailored to each technician’s needs. Practical skills are assessed through video evidence, with support from the RWC Training team.
Customers are reporting cost-savings of around 20% through the programme, with Bodyshop Solutions now offering an additional 10% discount on first-year training costs to bodyshops referred by the company that sign up to programme.
Mark Swaby, chairman of Bodyshop Solutions, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with RWC Training to develop and expand their TRAIN TO GAIN programme. We believe it offers a real opportunity for bodyshops to rethink their approach to technician training, helping them reduce costs and minimise disruption while continuing to develop the skills and expertise their businesses need.
“By delivering training remotely and tailoring learning to individual technicians’ needs, TRAIN TO GAIN makes ongoing training more accessible and manageable for bodyshops. It can help them invest in their people, improve productivity and keep pace with the rapidly evolving vehicle repair industry.”
Rob Ward, managing director of RWC Training, added: “We are excited to be working with Bodyshop Solutions to bring Train to Gain to more bodyshops across the UK. Our aim is to provide a practical, sustainable approach to training that works for both businesses and technicians.
