Evolve Accident Repair Group has completed the acquisition of Wyndon Motors in Coventry from Ruth Moring-Beale, making it the seventh site in the rapidly growing group owned by Stefan Hill and Jack Thomas.
Established only six years ago, Evolve ARC was recognised in the Sunday Times Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in 2026. Moring-Beale inherited Wyndon Motors following the death of her husband, Dave Beale, three years ago. Managing director Paul French, who took responsibility for the business during Dave’s final months, has continued to develop it by adding Tesla approval to its existing Mercedes-Benz and VAG manufacturer approvals.
Wyndon Motors growth
Under his leadership, Wyndon Motors has become the successful and profitable business it is today.
Moring-Beale said: “The time was right for Wyndon Motors to enter a new era. By joining Evolve ARC Group, the business will become part of a dynamic, young and forward-thinking organisation, giving Paul and his excellent team the support of a wider community and access to new ideas.
“Dave always said he would like to move Wyndon Motors on after owning it for 10 years, and September 2026 marked that milestone. I know he would have loved to see Wyndon join this great young business.
“There is also a certain serendipity to the move: Martin Taylor, the previous owner of Wyndon Motors, raced Ducati motorbikes in Coventry, while Stefan Hill, one of Evolve’s owners, cleaned Martin’s bikes at Ducati during his teens. Stefan, a former World Endurance Bike Champion, remains in touch with Martin, so this feels like an excellent fit. Evolve will be only the fourth owner in Wyndon’s history, and I wish Stefan and Jack every success in taking the business forward as the latest custodians of Coventry’s oldest bodyshop.”
Win-win for Evolve
Stefan Hill, co-owner of Evolve Accident Repair Group, said: “We’re really pleased to add Wyndon Motors to the Evolve portfolio. It’s a business with a great history in Coventry, and Paul and his team have done a brilliant job building it up, especially with the Tesla, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen Group approvals.
“We’ve got big plans for bringing Wyndon into the Evolve footprint, and we’re confident it’ll be a real win-win, with Wyndon adding great value to the group and Wyndon benefiting from the support and resources of a wider network.
“There’s a nice personal link for me too. I used to clean Martin Taylor’s Ducatis in Coventry as a teenager, so it’s great to see things come full circle. I’d like to thank Ruth for trusting us with the business Dave built. Jack and I are looking forward to backing Paul and the team as Wyndon becomes our seventh site.”
