Auto Windscreens helps Markerstudy Group to EcoVadis Gold
Markerstudy Group has been awarded an EcoVadis Gold Medal for sustainability, placing it in the top five per cent of more than 130,000 companies assessed.
The Markerstudy Group, which includes Auto Windscreens, is one of the largest insurance providers in the UK.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading independent sustainability assessment platforms, evaluating organisations across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights; ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Markerstudy Group achieved an overall score of 80 out of 100, with cores of 88 for environment, 78 for labour and human rights, 76 for ethics, and 78 for sustainable procurement.
The Gold Medal demonstrates the group’s ongoing focus on responsible business practices, transparency and continuous improvement, and provides reassurance to customers, partners and suppliers that the businesses within the group operate to recognised sustainability standards that have been independently verified.
But while the recognition marks an important milestone, Markerstudy Group views it as part of a wider sustainability journey, with opportunities for further improvement already identified.
