GSF Car Parts upgrades Sheffield site to RDC
GSF Car Parts has upgraded its Sheffield North branch to a Regional Distribution Centre.
The branch will complement the nearby Regional Distribution Centre in Bradford while providing customers with a wider range of stock. It will be operated by a dedicated team of 20 full-time employees and supported by a modern fleet of nine delivery vans
The investment continues a wider strategy of expansion from GSF, which has added 13 new branches including two relocations this year.
Sam Waistnidge, general manager at Sheffield North, said: “By becoming an RDC, we’re putting ourselves in a much stronger position to support our local branch network, making it easier than ever to be the factor that says yes.
“It reflects the fantastic work the team has put in, and we’re entering this new chapter full of confidence that we can grow our share of business in the local area. We’ll be operating nine vans, and the move to an RDC has almost doubled the size and capability of the branch.”
