Fix Auto UK tees up at The Belfry
Fix Auto UK hosted its annual golf day at The Belfry, with franchise partners from across the UK competing at one of the UK’s most iconic venues.
The event brought together 35 golfers in eight teams of four and one team of three to compete in a four-ball stableford competition.
The winning team was made up from Richard Taylor, of Fix Auto Buckingham, Callum Burdon, of Fix Auto Durham, John Guest of sponsor NFP and Joe Giovannone of iBodyshop.
They finished seven points clear of the runners-up Saki Gill, of Fix Auto Stourport, Fix Auto Cheltenham’s Kieran Humphries, Chris Sugden, of Keko, and Will Lampard flying the flag for Garage Equipment Services.
Third place went to James Gore, managing director of Fix Auto Manchester, Fix Auto UK’s Steve Lawrence and Jamie Collins and 3M’s Lee Roan. Kieran Humphries also enjoyed individual success by claiming the Nearest the Pin prize.
Relationships
Ian Pugh, managing director of the Advantage Group of Companies, of which Fix Auto UK is a part of, said: “Our annual golf day has become much more than a sporting event. It’s an opportunity to bring together franchise partners and supplier partners from across the group, strengthen relationships and spend valuable time together away from the day-to-day pressures of the business.
“The fact so many are prepared to travel from all corners of the UK each year reflects the strength of our business and the sense of community we’ve created.”
