Cardiac Risk in the Young triumphs at SVA World Cup Day

Shoreham Vehicle Auctions raised nearly £10,000 for Cardiac Risk in the Young during its World Cup-themed Zenith Centre for Day.

Partnering with Zenith, it sold 176 of the 177 vehicles on offer, donating to the charity for every sale to raise £9,680 in total.

The line-up featured 75 electric vehicles, 60 hybrids and 42 petrol and diesel models.

Electric vehicles proved the most popular, achieving a 102% CAP overall compared to the 101% overall CAP performance.

Success

Alex Wright, managing director at SVA, said: “The World Cup sale delivered everything we hoped for – a packed hall, strong bidding and a fantastic result of 176 vehicles sold from 177 entered. The mix of vehicles was superb, and the continued strength of EV demand shows how the market is evolving. Raising nearly £10,000 for CRY made the day even more meaningful.”

Stephen Barlow, head of remarketing at Zenith, said: “The event’s success reflects the strong partnership between Zenith and SVA and the hard work of everyone involved. It provides a great opportunity for us to thank our buyers for their support over the past 12 months and raising almost £10,000 for Cardiac Risk in the Young helped make this year’s event truly memorable.”
