Nominations welcome for Inspiring Automotive Woman
Auto30Club is launching a LinkedIn campaign, Who Inspires You, to help it find the industry’s most Inspiring Automotive Woman.
Taking place from 9am on 20 July until 3pm on 24 July, the campaign is inviting nominations for any woman in the sector who has set an example for others and brought about meaningful change.
Nominations are welcome for women at any level of the business who have helped to make their organisation more inclusive, promoted the company as an employer of choice for women, engaged with educational establishments to attract fresh talent, set up or led a women’s workplace network, or provided mentoring for female colleagues.
Auto30Club has created a nominations template and will track and assess every post featuring the hashtags #InspiringAutomotiveWoman or #WhoInspiresYou.
Shortlist
It will then select a shortlist of 30 women, before announcing the winners in January. They will then be in line for the prestigious IAW of the Year Award, which will be announced next spring.
The Auto30Club is a network of automotive leaders working together to promote inclusive leadership across the sector. It measures success by female representation in leadership roles.
It said: “We have some incredible female changemakers, many of whom are influencing without authority and driving inclusive change from all levels and all parts of the sector. The purpose of our IAW Awards is to recognise these amazing women.
“Due to the public nominations process which enables anyone to nominate an automotive woman who inspires them, we are also showcasing women from all parts of the automotive sector who are doing incredible things.”
