RAC to deliver road assistance to Chery drivers

RAC has announced that Chinese vehicle manufacturer Chery has selected it as roadside assistance partner.

This follows similar partnerships with Chery’s other two brands, Omoda and Jaecoo.

As part of the agreement, Chery drivers will receive 12-months comprehensive roadside assistance from the RAC, including cover at home, nationwide recovery and onward travel if needed.

Meanwhile, drivers who get their vehicles serviced at a manufacturer-approved dealership qualify for a further 12-months complimentary breakdown cover.

Household names

RAC business CEO Dan Sparks said: “We’re delighted to have been selected as Chery’s roadside assistance partner in the UK, which follows both Omoda and Jaecoo choosing the RAC in recent years.

“We expect all three brands to establish themselves as household names here in the UK and we’re excited to be on this journey with them.

“Chery UK’s customers receive a comprehensive level of breakdown cover from the RAC, including attendance by our nationwide team of roadside patrols who are committed to delivering an outstanding service to drivers and fix the vast majority of issues there and then.”
