Activate Collision Solutions unveiled to meet insurer needs

Activate Group has launched Activate Collision Solutions, a new insurer‑focused collision management brand.

The creation of Activate Collision Solutions follows Activate Group’s purchase of Avant and brings both well-established businesses together under one identity.

It already manages more than 68,000 claims a year, covering the full claims journey including first notification of loss (FNOL), triage, repair deployment, management and in‑house engineering expertise.

Through Activate Accident Repair, Activate Collision Solutions combines its own repair centres with a national network of more than 650 repairers, delivering guaranteed capacity and flexibility to manage demand across vehicle types, regions and repair requirements.

Meanwhile, the brand is also supported by Activate Group’s in‑house capabilities, including an integrated parts supplier, Activate Parts, and a purpose-built claims management system.

Operational scale

Chris Ryder, managing director, Activate Collision Solutions said: “With increasing vehicle complexity, rising compliance expectations and growing sustainability commitments, insurers need partners with the infrastructure, expertise and scale to meet broader business obligations – not just manage volume.

“Activate Collision Solutions has been built specifically to address these challenges, combining operational scale with the specialist expertise required to manage modern claims and repair demands.”

He continued: “This launch is about more than combining two businesses, it’s about carrying forward the values that have made Avant Repair Network and Motor Repair Network successful: integrity, innovation and a relentless focus on customer service.

“We’re creating a collision management partner built on transparency, strong repairer relationships and the drive to continually improve. Our aim is to give insurers certainty and control, while delivering the best possible experience for their customers.”
