Fix Auto UK adds Fix Auto Preston to network

Fix Auto UK has appointed Preston-based Ashton Repair Centre to its network.

The business, which will now operate as Fix Auto Preston, was acquired by Ketan Panchal and Jeevan Singh in October last year.

Within three weeks of acquiring the business they had invested in new energy-efficient LED lighting and recommissioning two commercial-sized spraybooths, while BSI 10125 certification was achieved in February.

The 12,000 sqft site is now managed by John Whittam, who previously worked at Fix Auto Bolton and played a pivotal role in the decision to join the network.

Panchal said: “Creating Ashton Repair Centre was always part of our long-term strategy to expand our repair offering. So far, the journey couldn’t have gone any better. We’re fortunate to have brought together a strong team from the outset, one that is already delivering high-quality repairs alongside excellent customer service and our reputation for delivering first class repairs is growing every week.

“While we have extensive experience in mechanical repairs and MOTs, body repair is new territory for us. That’s why and really following John’s recommendation, partnering with Fix Auto UK was an easy decision. We quickly recognised the value and support that comes with being part of such an established network.”

Singh added: “We’ve developed a real passion for this side of the industry and are excited about what lies ahead. Like many business owners, we’re ambitious and have clear plans for further investment and expansion. However, we also understand the importance of having the right support in place to achieve those goals. The guidance and business support provided by Fix Auto UK will undoubtedly help accelerate our plans.”

Rapid progress

Mark Hutchins, operations director for Fix Auto UK, concluded: “We’re delighted to welcome Ketan, Jeevan and the team at Fix Auto Preston into the Group. Their rapid progress since acquiring the site is a clear reflection of their commitment, ambition and professionalism.

“Entering the bodyshop sector for the first time is a significant step, but with the leadership they have in place and the investment already made, they have built extremely solid foundations.

“With John’s prior experience with UK, they fully understand the standards and ethos we expect, which has made their integration seamless. We look forward to supporting their continued development and are confident the business will become a key repair partner in the region.”
