Vauxhall Mokka models top dealer margins
Two Vauxhall Mokka models topped the dealer margin charts in February, according to the latest Dealer Auction Retail Margin Monitor.
It found that that the Mokka X ranked first in the under £10,000 retail bracket for the first time since October 2025, while the older Mokka was 10th in the same category.
In the over £10,000 category, the Land Rover Discovery Sport achieved the greatest retail margin of £4,150, ahead of the Vauxhall Corsa (£2,800).
Meanwhile, the data found that across the board the Ford Focus was the quickest seller during the month, finding a buyer in just 25 days on average.
Pace and volume
Dealer Auction marketplace director, Kieran TeeBoon said: “It’s brilliant to see the pace and volume at which used cars are selling. Profit potential is a key metric, but so is ensuring a quick sale and getting that cash back in the bank.”
He concluded: “The current news points to dealers being wary of stock availability. This is where the proven models come into their own. It’s no coincidence that the Ford Focus, Volkswagen Golf and Vauxhall Insignia are staking claims in the profit charts.
“These reliable runarounds have stood the test of time, and it makes sense they’re proving a popular choice with customers and dealers who are setting their sights on older models. It will be interesting to see how this trend develops.”
