ITAS to manage approved repairer network for Geely UK

Geely Auto UK has appointed ITAS to operate and manage its approved repairer network.

Under the agreement, ITAS will manage the full approval scheme for body and paint repair centres. This includes identifying and selecting repairers with nationwide coverage, writing and auditing network standards, and providing technical training and support to repairers.

ITAS will also supply detailed repair data and insights to Geely Auto UK to support continuous improvement and monitoring.

The appointment strengthens Geely Auto UK’s commitment to delivering manufacturer‑approved repairs to UK customers, with all approved repairers having access to OEM‑aligned training, technical support, and operational guidance.

Technical standards

Nigel Griggs, aftersales director at Geely Auto UK, said: “As our retailer and aftersales network grows, it is essential that our repair infrastructure grows with it, said. Partnering with ITAS enables us to establish a robust, scalable and high‑quality approval programme that protects our customers’ vehicles, upholds Geely’s technical standards, and supports our bodyshop partners with the right training and certification processes.”

Danny Rota, chief executive officer at ITAS, added: “We are delighted to have been chosen by Geely to manage their body and paint programme in the UK.

“We have been very impressed with the emphasis that Geely have focused to the customer journey and the aftersales infrastructure that they are building for their clients. We are all looking forward to working with the team to build a market leading programme.”
