Axalta taps into AI to improve bodyshop efficiency

Axalta has announced a new partnership that can improve bodyshop efficiency by using AI to streamline workflows and reduce repair times.

It has partnered with aspaara, an AI optimisation solution for bodyshops, to provide its customers with a complementary, on-demand solution that integrates with bodyshop management systems and adapts to their needs in real time.

Once integrated, aspaara works by creating an exact digital replica of a bodyshop. It then walks through more than 5,000 dynamic simulations per week to create a predictive modelling platform able to adapt in real-time and increase throughput by up to 16%.

It supports every step of the refinish process, resulting in shorter repair times, increased on-time deliveries, and higher utilisation for both paint booths and technicians.
