UKGBE unveils expanded bodyshop features and hubs
The UK Garage & Bodyshop Event 2026 (UKGBE) has revealed an expanded line-up of features and dedicated hubs for its 2026 show.
The programme is designed to support skills development, business growth, networking and future talent for workshops, garages and bodyshop repairers.
This year’s UKGBE will introduce a packed line-up of live theatres, interactive demonstrations and specialist zones, delivering practical value for garage and bodyshop professionals at every stage of their career.
Bodyshop professionals can look forward to Paint & Spray Live, a standout live feature showcasing a fully operational, ventilated spray booth on the show floor. Visitors will see the latest products and techniques tested in real time, making it an essential destination for anyone involved in the refinishing sector.
Next generation
The Collision & Detailing Lab will deliver the latest updates, demonstrations and expert advice across collision repair and vehicle detailing. Through a mix of live demos and seminars, attendees will gain insight into everything from abrasives and dent repair to polishing and paint correction.
Supporting the next generation of talent, and fresh from Automechanika Birmingham 2025’s Motorvate initiative, the Ignite Arena will return to UKGBE 2026 to welcome students and apprentices for interactive talks, live entertainment, competitions and meet-and-greet opportunities. The arena highlights career pathways and emerging opportunities within the automotive industry, offering invaluable insight for those starting out.
Networking
Networking remains central to UKGBE 2026, with the Networking Pit Stop providing a relaxed space for visitors to recharge, connect with peers and build new relationships throughout the event.
A key social highlight will be BODYSHOP BUZZ, the networking event for bodyshop owners, managers, technicians and supply chain professionals. Taking place from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the Bodyshop Magazine Lounge and the next-door Collision and Detailing Lab, and delivered by Bodyshop Magazine, the drinks reception is free to attend but requires advance registration, with places strictly limited.
Completing the feature line-up is the Detailing Pavilion, a dedicated hub for the car care, customisation and detailing community. This specialist area will bring together leading brands in polishing, paint correction, protection, valeting and accessories, showcasing the latest products, tools and techniques in one focused space.
Registration to attend the UK Garage and Bodyshop Event is open now.
