The industry is mourning the sad passing of Autocraft Telford co-founder Bob Fielding.
He set up the company with his brother Colin in 1981 with just £3,000 and a single unit in St Georges.
The site remained the company’s home for more than 30 years as it built a proud reputation in the collision repair sector.
Autocraft Telford said: “Anyone who knew Bob and Colin [who passed away in October 2025] will recognise that their dedication, determination, and hard work laid the foundations for what has grown into the respected and successful business we are today.
“Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory and legacy will live on in our hearts and in the business he helped build.”
The funeral will take place at 1.30pm on Friday, 30 January at St Georges Church, Telford.
