Ford and Renault announce electric vehicle collaboration
Ford and Renault have announced a strategic partnership to support the US brand expand its electric vehicle offering in Europe.
As part of the agreement, Ford plans to develop two new electric models at Renault sites in the north of France, based on its Ampere platform,
The first of the two vehicles is expected to be available in early 2028.
Meanwhile, the two manufacturers have also signed a Letter of Intent to explore collaboration opportunities around the development and manufacture of light commercial vehicles.
