Fix Auto Walsall leads franchisee investments
Fix Auto Walsall and Fix Auto Gloucester have both unveiled major expansion and investment programmes.
Fix Auto Walsall has moved to a new 16,000 sqft repair centre encompassing two buildings that increases its footprint to nearly four times that of its original size.
While the main repair centre now operates out of a newly acquired 12,000 sqft adjacent unit, while owner Ziarab Amin has converted his original 3,700 sqft unit into a dedicated ‘tech’ centre equipped with a dedicated ADAS calibration system and facilities to service EVs.
The development has boosted repair capacity from 18 vehicles per week to more than 40, including hi-top LCVs, while also enabling significant upgrades such as two new high-efficiency spraybooths.
Humam Amin, bodyshop danager at Fix Auto Walsall, said: “This investment marks a major milestone for us at Fix Auto Walsall. Expanding our footprint fourfold ensures we are able to dramatically increase our repair capacity and reduce repair turnaround times, ultimately its future-proofing the business. Joining Fix Auto UK in 2019 was a strategic step in our growth journey, and this milestone reflects the success of that decision.”
Increased capacity
Meanwhile, Fix Auto Gloucester owner Aron Matthews has received the keys to a new 9,000 sqft building, enabling increased repair capacity, enhanced workflow efficiency and future service innovation.
He said: “We joined Fix Auto UK just over two years ago to not only future proof the business but also elevate it to another level, one to match my own ambitions for it. I am delighted to say that today, we’re expanding into a new unit that, once we’ve completed our plans for it, will, I would argue, ensure we have one of the premier repair centres in Gloucester.”
