Fix Auto Basingstoke is moving to a new, purpose-built 24,000 sqft facility that put the focus on environmental performance.
The new facility has been designed with sustainability at its core and will be fully powered by renewable energy. A state-of-the-art solar panel system will generate enough electricity to sustain the entire operation year-round, making Fix Auto Basingstoke one of the most sustainable and environmentally responsible bodyshops in the UK.
Meanwhile, the team is also investing in two cutting-edge electric Junair spraybooths, which will also operate entirely on solar power. By adopting a fully electric, solar-powered system, Fix Auto Basingstoke will dramatically reduce its carbon footprint and operational emissions.
The site will also feature eight electric vehicle charging bays to ensure it is ready for the continued transition toward EV ownership.
Construction of the site is now underway and it is scheduled to be fully operational by the end of the year.
