Silverlake Automotive Recycling supports HIOWAA
Silverlake Automotive Recycling has raised £7,949 for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA).
The funds were raised during its annual MotoFest 2025 family fun day, held in support of the life-saving regional charity.
Silverlake has also pledged ongoing fundraising support for the charity as it relocates to its new operational base in Southampton.
Allen Prebble, managing director of Silverlake Automotive Recycling, said: “We’re incredibly proud to support Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, a charity that provides such vital, often life-saving services to our community.
“Having been based in Southampton for over 75 years, supporting local people and organisations is deeply rooted in Silverlake’s values. We’re committed to helping HIOWAA as they grow into their new Southampton base and continue to serve those in critical need.
“I’d also like to thank every member of the public who attended Silverlake MotoFest 2025, held at Eastleigh Football Club, and gave so generously; this remarkable total wouldn’t have been possible without you.”
Amazing total
HIOWAA supporter engagement officer Lucy Butcher said: “A huge thank you to everyone at Silverlake for their wonderful support and contribution to their local air ambulance. This amazing total could help us purchase vital kit and equipment such as flight helmets or an ultrasound machine.
“It could also fund two potentially life-saving missions. They are truly making an enormous difference to patients and families across the region. We are very excited at this partnership and looking forward to working alongside Silverlake for the foreseeable future.”
