EVA England opens EV survey to all drivers

EVA England has launched its annual survey to gauge the feelings of motorists towards electric vehicles.

For the first time the survey is now also open to drivers of hybrid, petrol and diesel vehicles.

The five-minute survey runs until 14 September and is intended to understand the feelings of electric vehicle drivers as well as those are considering making the switch or do not feel ready to go electric.

It aims to identify the challenges and opportunities facing drivers today, the perceived barriers to EV uptake as well as the changes that could make electric driving more attractive.

Its findings will then shared with policymakers, stakeholders, and the wider public to help shape future transport policy.

Important survey

Vicky Edmonds, chief executive of EVA England, said: “We’re strongly encouraging all drivers – whether they drive electric, hybrid, petrol or diesel – to take a few moments to tell us what they feel is and isn’t working for them when it comes to electric cars and their supporting infrastructure.

“These surveys really matter. They help give a voice to drivers and a chance to have their say on some of the important and lasting decisions being made right now for the future of our roads and electric infrastructure.”
