Adam Rich promoted to Hyundai franchise director
Vertu Motors has appointed Adam Rich as its new Hyundai franchise director.
He joined the Vertu group in 2012 as a sales executive at its Darlington Nissan operation and quickly progressed to sales manager. He then relocated to the South of England to take on a senior role in the Mercedes-Benz division, overseeing used car sales across five dealerships in the region.
He then joined the company’s Next Generation talent development programme and progressed to divisional sales director for the Volkswagen division before his latest appointment.
Rich said: “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities Vertu has given me over the years. This new role is a huge honour, and I’m excited to lead the Hyundai division into its next chapter. I’ve worked with some brilliant people across the Group, and I’m looking forward to building on that experience to deliver great results for our teams and customers.
“Hyundai is a brand with huge potential, and I’m committed to helping our colleagues and sites thrive as we continue to grow our presence in the market.”
Great example
Robert Forrester, chief executive of Vertu Motors, added: “Adam is a walking example of what you can achieve if you embody our values of passion, professionalism and commitment. His enthusiasm for the business is evident as soon as you meet him, and it’s fantastic to see home-grown talent stepping into a franchise director role; it’s what Vertu is all about.
“Adam has worked across multiple divisions, taken on tough challenges, and consistently delivered results; this appointment is richly deserved. I’m looking forward to seeing him flourish in his new role.”
