Bodyshop Awards 2025 finalists to be announced next week
Bodyshop Magazine’s panel of independent industry experts met earlier this week at the Eyebox Training and Conference Centre in Coventry to decide the Bodyshop Awards 2025 finalists and winners in the competition’s non-technical categories.
The finalists will be unveiled starting Monday next week (11 August) via this website and through our social media channels – LinkedIn, Facebook, X and Instagram.
Bodyshop Awards 2025 finalists
Our 10 judges for this year’s Awards have been Michael Golding (Allianz); Angela Henry (Fix Auto Stoke); Jason Hopkins (Axalta); Dean Lander (Thatcham Research); Chris McKie (Vizion Network); Ruth Moring-Beale (Morelli Group); Stephen Osborne (3M); Phil Peace (Repairify); Martyn Rowley (NBRA); and Dave Sargeant (Gemini ARC).
On “jury day”, each of the independent panellists had one vote in categories that included Small, Medium and Large Bodyshop of the Year, Group Bodyshop, Supply Chain Partner, Technical Training Provider, and Bodyshop Manager of the Year.
If Bodyshop Magazine editor Simon Wait judged there to be a conflict between an individual jury member and an award entry or award category, that juror was asked to leave the room and took no part in the debate or voting for that particular category.
Independent judging
The Awards team from Bodyshop Magazine – Simon Wait, Louise Cooke and Emily Miles – were on hand to count the votes and provide candidate insights to the jury as required, but to keep the competition uniquely independent within the industry, none of the Bodyshop team were allowed to vote or influence the voting in any way.
Judging for the technical awards – the Powered by Vizion–Bodyshop Thatcham Panel and Paint Apprentices and Technicians; the Powered by IAEA–Bodyshop Thatcham VDA of the Year; and the Powered by asTech–Bodyshop Thatcham Advanced Technologies Technician of the Year – was conducted separately over three days of practical assessments held in the Thatcham Research Automotive Academy in late July.
All finalists in all categories will attend the Bodyshop Awards & Expo 2025 on Monday and Tuesday, 20-21 October at The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield, where the winners will be unveiled live on stage, together with this year’s 30 Under 30: Rising Stars.
