Registrations for the WorldSkills UK National Competitions 2024 open on 26 February 2024 and will close on 28 March. These competition programmes give young individuals from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to benchmark their skills against the best young professionals across the UK – many of them from automotive sectors including mechanical, body repair and car painting.

• National Qualifiers (April-28 June 2024): Benchmark skills locally or online.

• Training and development (September -November 2024): Prepare for the National Finals.
• National Finals (November 2024): Showcase skills on the national stage.
• Squad UK: Eligible students can join Squad UK for a chance to compete in WorldSkills Shanghai 2026.
