IMI unveils EDI webinar series

The Institute of the Motor Industry is turning its attention to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion with a series of free webinars in the coming months.

Delivered by independent experts, the sessions are being held to help the industry address key issues around EDI.

The one-hour webinars will be delivered free to its 110,000 members, with recordings available for anyone who is unable to attend live.

The first session, Active Bystander  takes place on 19 June, with the Trans and Non-Binary Inclusion webinar being held on 9 July. The series will conclude on 13 August with a webinar entitled, Tackling Ableism.

The IMI said:

“These webinars will arm IMI members with the resources they need to provide equal opportunities and support for everyone in the workplace and the wider industry. Complementing the range of training courses and online resources already available to members, these webinars play an important part in the IMI’s commitment to ensuring constant learning in all areas of EDI and raising awareness of the value the differences in people can bring to an organisation.
