IAAF launches parts advisor training programme

The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) has launched a new training programme aimed at supporting UK based motor factors, parts distributors, suppliers and garages.
The Pro-active Parts Advisor Programme uses a mixture of virtual classroom training, coaching and one-to-one support. Parts advisors will be able to choose between a short training session or a certified training course.
The programme aims to cover topics such as pro-active parts sales, effective customer relationships and compliant handling. The aim is an improved customer experience, increased performance and better staff retention.
Mark Field, IAAF chief executive, said: “I’m really pleased to be coming to market with a solution that offers effective training for motor factors. The new programme has far-reaching benefits and we have also seen a demand from suppliers and garages for this type of training.”
