Paint mixing process MoonWalk has been adopted by more than 1,600 businesses across the EMEA since its launch in 2019.
MoonWalk, by PPG, revolutionised paint mixing by replacing the manual process with an automated solution that reduces product waste, eliminates spills, and increases bodyshop productivity while achieving a perfect colour match every time.
It is now set to grow further with the introduction of a monthly subscription plan that requires no upfront investment by bodyshops, and with the technology having launched in USCA and ANZ in the past month.
Richard Goode, automotive refinish market director, UK & Ireland, said: “The new MoonWalk subscription model has been introduced to make the future of refinish technology more accessible to bodyshops. PPG’s mission is to lead the way in automotive refinish digital innovations. The power of MoonWalk’s colour matching capabilities is truly unrivalled, particularly when paired with PPG LINQ, we want these huge gains available to as wide an audience as possible. Businesses will now be able to feel the positive effect MoonWalk has by removing the large upfront investment.”
The new subscription model is available to order at a fixed fee of £575 per month over five years. PPG LINQ can also be included with the MoonWalk subscription fee as a bundle for a reduced price.
