DTC delivers for charity

Southampton-based Direct Tool Company (DTC) has donated thousands of pounds of hand tools and abrasives to Buckinghamshire-based charity WORKAID.

WORKAID refurbish and distribute unwanted tools and equipment to people in need, to help them learn a skill and earn a living.

Tim Wakeford, managing director at DTC, said: “As a company we really understand the value of tools in helping build businesses from the ground up. What we have done is to quite literally give people the tools they need to go out and feed themselves and their families by learning a trade and therefore supporting themselves for life.”
