Copart backs Ben’s Big Breakfast

Copart has continued its support for automotive charity Ben by coming to work in their pyjamas for the Big Breakfast fundraising event.

Ben provides health and wellbeing support to people who work or have worked in the automotive industry.

It’s Big Breakfast event took place across one week in October, ending on 10 October to coincide with World Mental Health Day. The aim of the event was to host a breakfast any day during that week and bring, bake, make, and sell breakfast to raise money to support Ben’s work in the industry.

Throughout the week Copart hosted Big Breakfasts across its nationwide locations, raising funds through the sale of breakfast treats and games. To raise additional funds, teammates at head office also held a ‘Plank in your Pyjamas’ endurance competition.

Jane Pocock, managing director, said: “We are very fortunate to have access to Ben’s wide range of health and wellbeing support services, so we always enjoy the opportunity to give something back. We have an amazing culture here at Copart for charitable giving and our teammates always show a great deal of passion and enthusiasm when it comes to fundraising for good causes.

“I’m delighted with the effort our teams across the UK put into the Ben’s Big Breakfast events and together they raised a fantastic amount of money for Ben, which will help them to provide even more support services to the automotive community.”
