Prasco UK praises ‘determined’ staff

Prasco UK’s managing director Kelvyn Waugh has paid tribute to his staff who have “gone above and beyond the call of duty” to ensure the company’s level of service is being maintained despite the coronavirus outbreak.

Even with several key team members forced to self-isolate, Waugh said the determination of staff, along with meticulous planning especially surrounding social distancing within the company’s distribution hub, is ensuring the company’s next-day deliveries and high levels of independently certified replacement parts in stock are being maintained.

“I know I speak for many when I say it’s times like these that you really find out the true commitment of your team,” said Waugh. “We have had several guys having to self-isolate … and yet, where possible, they have still showed their commitment to the business. Those that have been able to, have simply rolled their sleeves up and got on with the job.”

“At the moment we are holding extremely high levels of stock and we have been working tirelessly with our suppliers to ensure those stocks do not diminish. We have numerous containers en route, which will ensure a steady flow of items will be maintained and we have received every assurance from our suppliers that productivity will be maintained,” Waugh added.
