Audatex announces AEG 4.2 launch

Audatex has the launch the latest version of its vehicle damage assessment and estimating system, Audaenterprisegold 4.2 (AEG 4.2), which will be available next month.

Following the launch of 4.1 in May 2018, Audatex has continued to invest in the development of its solutions by working closely with customers. Using the feedback from its recent Customer Satisfaction Survey, Audatex has actioned its customers’ top improvement requests, by bringing these to market in the AEG 4.2 release on 24 June 2019.

This update will showcase the following enhancements: Enhanced image management and classification – making processes faster and easier whilst enabling best practice image management throughout the repair process; new document management capabilities – users will be able to add PDF documents directly to AEG assessments; AudaVIN+ now included as a standard feature – increased accuracy and safety by correctly identifying the vehicle specification at the beginning of an assessment, including all factory fitted optional extras and safety related ADAS features.

Dave Shepherd, Audatex’s regional managing director EMEA 1, said, ‘Our agile development teams have been working closely with our customers to ensure our solution roadmap aligns to the changing needs of the industry. With the increasing volume of new technologies and safety related features included on vehicles as standard, accuracy at the first point of assessment has never been more critical.

‘By including an AudaVIN+ search as standard on all estimates we can ensure the assessment is built from a highly accurate model sheet, with all the information needed to ensure a safe repair. 4.2 also brings a host of other benefits, requested by our customers, that are designed to help you offer a superior service, save time, improve accuracy and shorten key-to-key times.’

In line with the AEG 4.2 enhancements and to allow us to continue to invest in the further development of our solutions, Audatex will be implementing a 3.5% price increase across all Audatex core solutions effective 1 July. The increase will not be applied to the following Audatex products: AudaInvoice, AudaMobile and VHC2.
