Research warns of manufacturing exodus

A KPMG manufacturing survey has found that up to two thirds of car parts makers are considering moving operations away from the UK.
Its research of 300 car parts manufacturers revealed that 67% are considering relocating production abroad.
Stephen Cooper, of KPMG, said, ‘Recent headlines have shown just how much the automotive sector in particular is feeling the pinch and this was echoed by our findings.’
